About the Role & Program:
Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for TWDC, encompassing all aspects of music monetization: Recorded Music (Walt Disney and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music from films, series, Parks, artists, and more both physically and digitally (streaming and downloads); and also licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming and consumer products.
The DMG Finance team is looking for a finance intern who is curious about music and has the aptitude to absorb and learn about the ever-changing music landscape. DMG Finance is a fast-paced, dynamic environment and we are looking for a finance intern to utilize and build upon their technical capabilities (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to help build dynamic dashboards that will provide financial insights for key music stakeholders. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May/June - August 2026.
What You Will Do
You would join a collaborative team performing financial responsibilities for DMG, including budgeting, forecasting, project modeling, and variance analysis. You would also collaborate closely with key business partners in sales, marketing, production and creative.
- Assist with gathering and analyzing data to build a dynamic revenue to marketing expense dashboard for priority music titles
 - Assist with optimizing management reporting deliverables for key music stakeholders
 - Act as an embedded team member within DMG Finance and a close partner to the business we support
 - Demonstrate confidence and curiosity in analyzing large datasets using systems such as SAP, Cognos, Business Objects, and Tableau, while showcasing enthusiasm for data aggregation and visualization tools like Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau
 - Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis for various DMG business verticals as needed
 
Required Qualifications & Skills
Exposure and curiosity to learn advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with enterprise level systems such as SAP, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
Basic knowledge of key accounting principles
Demonstrated excellence in coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics
Education:
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related area
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
 - Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
 - Be at least 18 years of age
 - Possess unrestricted work authorization
 
Additional Information:
- Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship
 - Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA area
