This fixed-term opportunity is available through to the end of the year and is based in Madrid, operating on a hybrid model with four days per week in the office.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage programming plans within scheduling systems, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Curate content selections, collections and thematic programming initiatives to maximise audience engagement.
  • Identify and programme suitable catalogue and library content, ensuring rights and licensing windows are respected.
  • Coordinate content availability, metadata, localisation and delivery timelines across multiple territories.
  • Manage VOD ordering processes and support monthly content launches.
  • Validate metadata and ensure content information is accurate and compliant with operational requirements.
  • Partner with local markets, Operations and Client Services teams to ensure successful implementation of programming plans.
  • Contribute to programming discussions, content reviews and planning activities.
  • Support accessibility initiatives and simultaneous multi-market launches.

What We Are Looking For

  • A first experience in TV Programming, Programming Planning, Content Scheduling or a similar media environment.
  • Strong understanding of content planning, scheduling, rights management and metadata workflows.
  • Experience working with VOD, streaming platforms or non-linear content services.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent organisational skills.
  • Passion for television, factual content and audience engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Media, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Experience using scheduling or programming systems such as What's On (WON).
  • Understanding of localisation workflows, content delivery and operational processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with factual, documentary or National Geographic-style content is desirable.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
