Would you like to help care for the horses that support the magic, tradition, and storytelling of the Disneyland® Resort?
As a Stable Attendant, you will be part of the Circle D team, supporting the daily care, well-being, and readiness of our horses while helping create safe and memorable experiences for Guests and Cast Members. In this hands-on role, you will work in both Norco and Anaheim, California, with responsibilities that include feeding, grooming, exercising, cleaning, and monitoring horses for signs of injury or illness.
This role is physically active, highly detailed, and rooted in safety. Stable Attendants help maintain horse care areas, equipment, grounds, and Guest-facing spaces while supporting the unique equine operations that are part of the Disneyland® Resort experience.
Responsabilidades:
As a Stable Attendant, depending on your shift on any given day, you might:- Feed, provide care, exercise, and groom horses
- Groom horses, including picking up and cleaning out each horse’s hooves daily
- Monitor horses for signs of injury, illness, or changes in behavior and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and medical treatments to horses, as directed
- Support the daily feeding and care of a variety of draft horses
- Harness horses for Main Street, U.S.A. and help keep related equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
- Use knowledge of equine behavior, including reading a horse’s body language, to support the safety of Guests, Cast Members, and horses
- Interact with Guests and Cast Members by answering questions, providing directions, sharing information, and offering helpful service
- Create magical experiences while maintaining an efficient and safe operation
- Maintain grounds and horse care areas by sweeping, raking, cleaning, stocking, and organizing
- Frequently clean animal waste and support overall cleanliness of assigned areas
- Operate a tractor or truck and trailer, with training provided
- Pull and maneuver 25 to 50 lb. bales of hay. Some bales may weigh up to 120 lbs. and may need to be rolled or tipped into a wagon
- Work with hay, dust, wood shavings, grains, water, non-toxic chemicals, and horses
Experiencia laboral requerida:
Here’s what you will need to be successful in the job:- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Must have a valid California Driver License
- Must be able to work in both Norco and Anaheim, California
- Comfortable working with and around horses
- Ability to work safely around large animals and understand the importance of equine behavior and body language
- Comfortable working outdoors for the majority of the shift
- Comfortable working around hay, dust, wood shavings, grains, animal waste, water, and non-toxic chemicals
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Experiencia deseada:
- 1 to 2 years of horse handling experience
- Previous experience working with large animals, especially horses
- Knowledge of equine behavior, grooming, feeding, harnessing, or tack care
- Previous experience supporting equine operations, stable operations, or animal care environments
- Previous Guest service, operations, or cash handling experience
- Bilingual skills

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITYOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.95 per hour.
