Senior Manager, Technical Project Management – Next Gen Delivery & AI

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Senior Manager, Technical Project Management to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs with a focus on next-generation delivery platforms, including AI-driven initiatives. This role will operate at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and operations—driving innovation, enabling delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

Reporting to Director, Technology, this individual will oversee a portfolio of high-impact programs, manage interdependencies, and act as an integrator to enable the delivery of  AI integration, automation, and modern engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership

• Lead and manage large-scale, multi-project programs aligned with business and technology strategy, with a focus on AI-enabled solutions and next-gen delivery models.
• Develop and lead a group of line of business champions for AI across DX
• Translate executive vision into actionable roadmaps and ensure timely execution across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Drive program planning, execution, and governance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology standards.
• Build and lead a cross-functional network of AI champions across the Digital Experience (DX) organization to promote adoption, share best practices, and accelerate innovation.

AI & Emerging Tech Integration

• Champion the adoption of AI/ML technologies across delivery pipelines, including intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI use cases.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into product development and operational workflows.
• Stay current on AI trends and assess their applicability to internal initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and manage a structured intake and communication process for AI technology initiatives, leveraging both internal platforms and external solutions to drive transparency and alignment.

Operational Excellence & Financial Stewardship

• Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Lead resource planning and workforce alignment across engineering and support functions
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tooling, and metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, facilitating decision-making and driving execution of high-priority initiatives.
• Lead internal knowledge-sharing forums (e.g., Tech Round Tables, AI Innovation Showcases) and external vendor engagements.
• Develop and manage communication strategies, including executive updates, stakeholder briefings, and team recognition.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor project and program managers, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability.
• Support professional development and promote best practices in project management, Agile, and AI delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant filed of study or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in technical program/project management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional technology programs in large-scale organizations.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Lean, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML technologies into enterprise solutions or delivery processes.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, ACP, CSPO).
• Experience in digital transformation, cloud-native platforms, or workforce management technologies.
• Background in coaching Agile teams and leading delivery transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
