The Integrated Marketing Team is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives across various platforms and media channels. From developing comprehensive marketing campaigns to creating engaging promotional content, the team works together to elevate the Disney brand and connect with audiences locally.
This role provides the unique opportunity for digital marketers who want to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of digital and social marketing within the entertainment space. The Executive will play a crucial role in supporting digital and social marketing across Disney+ and Studios marketing campaigns.
While this role reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager (Malaysia), Integrated Marketing, the role will also be accountable to the Assistant Manager, Digital & Social Marketing, Integrated Marketing for alignment on digital and social strategy.
This role’s remit covers both Malaysia and Singapore.
Areas of responsibilities
- Participate in campaign ideation and media planning
- Lead and/or assist in social media marketing campaigns, inclusive but not limited to:
- Digital and social campaign concepts
- Content calendars and creative assets
- Digital and social media plans
- Digital and social performance reporting
- Digital and social campaign materials
- KOL/content creator initiatives
- Support in local market activities, including but not limited to screening and on-ground events.
- Liaise with creative and media agencies on marketing executions and administrative documentation
- Play a support and coordination role in administrative functions including but not limited to purchasing, billing, and inventory management
- Collaborate with teams in different Lines of Business ensuring consistent messaging
Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communication/Marketing/Business Management
- 2-3 years’ experience in handling social media accounts – particularly Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X
- 2-3 years’ experience in handling paid social media campaigns
- 2-3 years’ experience in digital and social data analytics and reporting tools and KPI measurement
- Highly proficient in content strategy, social copywriting and content calendar management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
- Good organisational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task
- Proactive, resourceful and collaborative
- Meticulous and diligent individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a keen interest in movies, series and pop culture
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin a plus
