About Global Information Security
The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services and solutions to protect the value and use of Disney’s information through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the enterprise. We protect the brand and reputation while enabling and supporting business objectives. GIS teams are located in Seattle, Burbank, and Orlando.
In order to ensure that our services keep TWDC secure, we follow an ongoing, iterative process, including continued re-evaluation of our services over time to address emerging threats as well as changes in business and technology. This process includes:
- Analysis of known and emerging threats to determine risks against TWDC assets
- Creation, maintenance, governance and communication of security policies and standards across TWDC
- Assessment and audit of compliance against the security policies and standards
- Assurance that TWDC assets are effectively managed and monitored to meet TWDC security criteria
We are looking to add people to our team who are focused on delivery, prioritize data-driven decisions over opinions, are continuous learners, passionate about information security and love their work.
About the Role
The Information Security Intern position will involve working closely with technology teams and business units to analyse and mitigate risk in their environments. There will be responsibility in providing security advice and support International TWDC projects to ensure security requirements are met and aligned with Disney Information Security Policies and Standards.
Role will extend to supporting on-boarding and monitoring international infrastructure to ensure assets are protected and visibility is attained. Additionally candidate will review, communicate and manage remediation of existing and newly discovered security findings and vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate social media engagement strategies through media planning with CDM
- Managing security aspect of TWDC International projects for business units and technology while prioritizing work and measuring quality of their deliverables
- Support the development of a strong understanding of the international environment and security initiatives.
- Assist the team in prioritising high-risk queries and tasks ensuring they undergo a risk assessment.
- Assist with documenting environment risk and providing regular risk reporting on ongoing initiatives.
- Perform security reviews when required for high-risk impact systems.
- Support onboarding and monitoring international infrastructure to ensure visibility.
- Help the team to review, communicate and manage the remediation of security findings and vulnerabilities.
- Assist manager with coordination and reporting incidents.
- Support and help manage 3rd party security compliance process with business input.
- Help with improving culture of security awareness and practice throughout TWDC International.
Internship Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
- Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2026

Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Information/Cyber Security or related degree
- Knowledge or interest in Cybersecurity is a plus
- Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
- Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for retail and marketing
- Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
- Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
- Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
- Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strategic thinker with good communications skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Keynote
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
